The Doctorate in Educational Leadership (EdD) for Equity and Social Change at Saint Mary's College in Moraga has reached its 30th anniversary, the college announced in a feature published Tuesday, July 21.

The three-year hybrid program, housed in the Kalmanovitz School of Education, trains working professionals in education, government, and nonprofits. Co-directors Dr. Monique Lane and Dr. Tangela Blakey Reavis lead the program. Total tuition runs $75,600 for 60 units.

Among the alumni profiled: Adam Clark (EdD '16), superintendent of Mt. Diablo Unified School District since 2020 and a three-time Saint Mary's graduate; and Holly Joshi (EdD '22), director of violence prevention for the city of Oakland. Joshi said in the college feature that she "would have never gone after this job if I hadn't had the learning experiences I had at Saint Mary's."

Calvin Monroe (EdD '22), regional coordinator of the Umoja Community Education Foundation, and Lindsay Wisely (EdD '23), director of educational services in Antioch Unified, were also featured.
