Five free concerts remain in Orinda's 2026 Summer Concerts in the Park series, starting Thursday, August 6, when East Bay rock cover band Salvage Title plays Orinda Community Center Park.
All shows run from 6 to 8 p.m. at 28 Orinda Way. Admission is free. Taste of the World Market food trucks will be parked on-site each Thursday for dinner.
The Orinda Parks and Recreation Foundation sponsors the series, with additional support from the Orinda Community Foundation, the Rotary Club of Orinda, and the City of Orinda, according to the Lamorinda Weekly.
About the opening act
Salvage Title brings '70s, '80s, and '90s rock hits to the August 6 show. The band features lead guitarist and vocalist Jason Wisenor, bassist Tony Vasquez, and drummer Dan Garvin. Diablo Magazine inducted the group into its Best of the East Bay Hall of Fame.
Closing the season
The series wraps Thursday, October 1, with Freestone Peaches, a San Francisco Bay Area-based Allman Brothers Band tribute act billed as Northern California's premier Allman Brothers tribute. The group's setup includes dual harmony lead guitars, double drums, Hammond organ, and what the band calls Tractor Bass.

The concert series is part of a broader Thursday Nights in Orinda program that also includes family-friendly movie nights at the park, according to Contra Costa News. The season kicked off Thursday, June 4, and the City of Orinda lists the full schedule on its official calendar at cityoforinda.gov.
