Registration for Orinda's fall camps, classes, and community programs opens Monday, August 10, covering activities running August through December 2026.
The Orinda Parks and Recreation Department published its 2026 Fall Activity Guide on Friday, July 17. The digital version is live at www.cityoforinda.org/336/View-Activity-Guides, where every program barcode links directly to its registration page. A print copy will arrive in mailboxes with the August edition of the Orinda News.
What's inside
The guide covers youth and adult programming in fitness, arts, enrichment, and recreation. Highlights include:
- Fall Break Camps for children while school is out
- Registration for Orinda Youth Sports Winter Basketball
- A celebration of local youth sports organizations tied to National Nonprofit Day on Monday, August 17
- The Annual Trunk and Treat, which sold out last year with 225 participants ages 1 to 11 at the Library Parking Garage; a 2026 date has not been announced
The National Nonprofit Day feature spotlights Orinda's youth sports organizations, though the department has not specified which groups will be recognized or what form the celebration will take.
